Deals & Capital Advisory

Tim is an experienced Director, advisor, and business owner. With a particular focus on assisting organisations facing financial or stakeholder difficulties, he helps navigate successful outcomes, and advises on recapitalisations and transaction strategy.
He is known for thinking outside of the box and has extensive experience in applying a commercial and pragmatic approach towards resolving operational and strategic issues.
In recent years, Tim has worked on some of the largest restructures in Australia, including playing a senior role in the successful restructure and sale of Virgin Australia which went on to win the Global Turnaround of the Year award. Other recent engagements include lead advisor in a private hospital turnaround, lead transaction advisor to one of Tasmania’s largest trades businesses, and helping lead the successful turnaround and merger of a large Aged Care provider as the Chair.
Tim holds a range of current board roles across a number of sectors and has shareholdings in several successful private businesses. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from UNSW, and has completed the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
